SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for visiting and shopping at Capamo.store. The following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

 

  1.  Shipment processing time
    • All orders are processed within 2-5 business days business days by the stipulated shipping service providers and/or in accordance with CAPAMO’s delivery policies. Delivery time is determined by the shipping provider, however CAPAMO will provide tracking details where possible and email updates where automated tracking is not possible.

 

  • Orders are not shipped or delivered on Sundays or holidays that will be communicated to you.

 

  • If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days, and you will be communicated with accordingly via email. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

 

  1. Shipping rates & delivery estimates
    • Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Depending on the product selected, the most suitable shipping method will be assigned by us. Estimated delivery time will be communicated through email after order is confirmed.

 

  • We aim to deliver the Product to you at the place of delivery requested by you in your Order and the delivery time communicated by us, through email communication.

 

  • You will receive a shipment notification e-mail once your order has been shipped. The e-mail will contain the tracking information and a link to track your package online – where possible through the shipping provider.

 

  • We shall notify you if we expect to be unable to meet our estimated delivery date, but to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery. In the event, where the shipping provider offers insurance at an extra cost, this will be communicated with you after your order has been placed by us, as well as any risk services covered by the shipping provider.

 

  • Upon delivery of the Product, you shall be required to sign for delivery. In case no one is at the delivery address, we will reattempt delivery. However, shipments cannot be re-routed, delivered to PO boxes, postal codes or left with a third party.

 

  • Please note that it might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations in which event, we will inform you using the contact details that you provide to us when you make your Order and arrange for cancellation of the Order or delivery to an alternative delivery address.

 

  • We deliver in standard packaging provided by shipping provider.

 

  • If delivery or collection is delayed through your unreasonable refusal to accept delivery or if you do not (within one week of our first attempt to deliver the Product to you) accept delivery, we may (without affecting any other right or remedy available to us) do either or both of the following:
  • Charge you for any fee and other costs reasonably incurred by us; or
  • No longer make the Product available for delivery or collection and notify you that we are immediately cancelling the applicable Order, in which case we will refund to you or your Credit or Debit Card Company as applicable any money already paid to us under the Order.

 

  • Delivery charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout by CAPAMO based on distance, volume and weight factors of the items to be delivered or as advised by respective vendors or third-party delivery service providers. Charges shall be calculated and paid for in advance on the online platform.
  • Any additional surcharges required by third-party delivery service providers that are incurred will be communicated with you via email, with method of payment communicated.

 

  1.  Unacceptable Deliveries 
    • A Delivery is deemed unacceptable if:

 

  • It contains counterfeit goods, animals, bullion, currency, gemstones; weapons, explosives and ammunition; human remains; illegal items, such as ivory and narcotics.

 

  • It is classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted articles according to the laws of Zambia.

 

  • Its address is incorrect or not properly marked or its packaging is defective inadequate to ensure safe transportation with ordinary care in handling.

 

  • For foreign items, if no customs declaration is made when required by applicable customs regulations.

 

  • It contains any other item which the shipping provider decides cannot be carried safely or legally.

 

  1.  Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

Where applicable, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

 

  1.  Delivery Claims 
    • If you are experiencing a non-delivery or your tracking information states that your package was delivered by the carrier, but you have not received it; you must contact us within seven (7 days) to file a claim.

 

  • CAPAMO does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been reported as delivered by the carrier. Furthermore, CAPAMO is not liable for missing parcels due to errors on the customer or carrier's part.

 

  1.  Customs, Duties and Taxes

CAPAMO is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

 

  1.  Damages
    • CAPAMO is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.

 

  • Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

 

  1.  International Shipping Policy

International shipping is offered by the third-party shipping providerDepending on the product selected this shipping option will, if available, be assigned by us.

Our Return and Refund Policy provides detailed information about options and procedures for returning your order.

  1. Shipping within Livingstone is Free
  2. Shipping within 30 km of Livingstone is K100
  3. Shipping within Lusaka is handled on a case by case basis.
